BlueDM

What is this game?

BlueDM is an online team-deathmatch FPS prototype for up to eight direct-IP players. Its Cobalt Foundry arena provides industrial rooms and lanes for a ten-weapon armory. Combat includes ammunition, reloads, aim-down-sights, spawn protection, scoring and respawns; this build has no bots or matchmaking.

Rules & objectives

1. Join an authoritative host and fight the opposing team; the server owns movement, combat and scoring.
2. Manage each firearm’s ammunition and reload timing; changing weapons selects from the ten available firearms.
3. Deaths are followed by respawns, with spawn protection part of the rules.
4. A second human client is needed to test combat because this prototype has no bots.

How to play

• WASD/arrows move; Shift sprints; Space jumps; Ctrl crouches.
• Mouse looks; left mouse fires; right mouse aims down sights; R reloads.
• 1–0 or mouse wheel selects a firearm.
• Tab shows secondary stats; Escape opens the menu; F/F11 toggles fullscreen.
