BlueEngineSandbox

What is this game?

BlueEngineSandbox is a local content workbench and creative exploration space. Browse 78 registered specimens, inspect their geometry and collision bounds, then pair any of eight character designs with nine maps. Play/Create supports placement, removal and saved construction while a separate physics session can test eligible movable props.

Rules & objectives

1. Choose a map and character in Play/Create; the selected world restores its previously saved construction.
2. The 78-item palette provides placement previews. Original scenery is protected from the player-object delete command.
3. Successful placement, removal and undo save automatically; undo retains up to 16 edits in the current session.
4. Six cosmetic human skins share the normal human controller and have no unique powers. Feta uses the smaller rat hull.
5. The walking preview keeps scenery static; use the separate Physics session for dynamic-prop testing.

How to play

• Tab switches walking/workbench; WASD/arrows move; mouse looks; Space jumps; Shift sprints; C/Ctrl crouches.
• Q changes perspective; Home returns to spawn; B toggles collision bounds.
• V opens the palette; left click places; right click cancels; R rotates 90 degrees.
• Wheel changes reach; Shift+wheel changes elevation; G toggles the 25 cm grid; E copies an aimed catalog asset.
• Delete removes a nearby player-placed object; Z undoes; Escape pauses; F/F11 toggles fullscreen.
