Deadfall

What is this game?

Deadfall is a multiplayer FPS for two to twelve players with optional bots and dedicated two-player duels. Slagworks, Switchyard and Stormbreak host four modes, from ordinary deathmatch to flag runs and no-respawn bomb rounds. Players manage two firearms, a knife and up to two grenades from a 36-weapon catalog.

Rules & objectives

1. Team Deathmatch ends at the kill target or time limit; Free for All awards individual kills.
2. Capture the Flag requires bringing the enemy flag home while your own flag is home; dropped flags return after 20 seconds.
3. Search and Destroy alternates attack/defence: hold use for 3 seconds to plant or 5 seconds to defuse; the fuse lasts 35 seconds, and there are no within-round respawns.
4. Duels disable bots and require two humans; leaving a live duel forfeits.
5. Start with the K-9 pistol and knife; pick up map weapons or use E to exchange an occupied slot.

How to play

• WASD/mouse move/look; left/right mouse fire/aim; Space jumps; Ctrl crouches; Shift sprints; V walks quietly.
• R reloads; E uses/swaps pickups or holds to plant/defuse.

• Tab scoreboard; Escape menu. Controller: sticks move/look, triggers fire/aim, A jump, B crouch, X reload, RB use, LB grenade.
