Feta

What is this game?

Feta is a two-player cat-and-mouse playtest set in a furnished house and garden. Players choose Feta or the Scientist, with solo exploration also available when no opponent is connected. The 0.2.0-playtest.4 build opens with a clean, centered BlueEngine Games text title card. The retired studio image is absent.

Original human creation prompt

The game will simply be called "Feta". Not prop hunt, but a simple "cat and mouse" style game where the Scientist/Human has a limited amount of time (let's say 5 min default) to kill the rat. The map should be big enough that there is variety and plenty of places for the rat to hide. The rat has a 1 min (default) head start to find a good place to hide. The countdown timer must be discreet. If the Feta survives the whole time, that player wins. If the scientist kills Feta in that amount of time, the scientist wins. The main menu must remain simple and allow the players to choose how long they want each round to last and how long the rat should have to hide (defaults are above) Instead of a variety of maps, stick to making 1 really good map with a variety of assets/props. The map itself has to have a certain theme (suburban home, office space, super market, hospital, school, etc.). Feel free to create new assets/props to make this work. Most of all it needs to feel nice to play on and be fun! If the rat is hit or shot by the scientist, the round ends and we get to start again and choose our characters. Ensure a round can only start when at least one Feta and one Scientist is selected.
